Freelance Report Writer – APAC
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative research into clear, compelling written reports. • Transform research findings into insightful business narratives and actionable recommendations. • Draft market, industry, company, and consumer analyses for client-facing deliverables. • Interpret datasets, market trends, and competitive intelligence to support strategic insights. • Structure report content logically and consistently to meet client and editorial standards. • Verify information, challenge assumptions, and ensure factual accuracy. • Collaborate with research teams to clarify findings and strengthen report quality. • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional presentation. • Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of analytical and written output.
• Excellent written English with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. • Demonstrated experience producing professional reports, analytical articles, research publications, or business intelligence content. • Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources. • Experience interpreting data and translating findings into meaningful business insights. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience writing market research, consulting, industry, strategy, or competitive intelligence reports. • Background in business, financial, or trade journalism. • Experience supporting investment research, equity research, due diligence, or corporate strategy projects. • Familiarity with market sizing, forecasting, and industry analysis methodologies. • Experience preparing IPO reports, prospectuses, investment memoranda, or other capital markets documentation. • Experience covering consumer markets, FMCG, retail, technology, healthcare, financial services, or industrial sectors. • Experience working with international clients and multicultural research teams.
